Description
In 1599, the Elizabethan actor William Kemp was reputed to have danced from London to Norwich, in nine days, to this tune.

Although there is no documented evidence of the composers to this melody it does show characteristics of John Dowland’s influence with the sudden tonal change from D to C and back.

This is just one of many versions of this dance and in
character with the spirit of the Renaissance, there will be many more to follow.

I enjoy using a capo on the 3rd fret, it creates a nice sound. (The audio preview is a midi sample)
